Pack your bags, grab your passport, and be transported through time and space for Bon Voyage!  This year's prom will feature various destinations across the globe, set from the 1920s-1950s.  Prom 2023 is open to homeschoolers (ages 14-19 at the time of the event) in the Commonwealth of Virginia.  In addition, each homeschooler is allowed to purchase a ticket for ONE non-homeschooling guest.  All attendees are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct and Dress Code.  We welcome the large numbers who have joined our homeschooling ranks since 2020, and we ask that you carefully read all rules before purchasing your ticket.

Dress Code and Code of Conduct

MUST be printed and signed to be admitted to event.  Link will also be provided in confirmation email.  **Please note that the committee does not have the ability to print forms at the venue, nor will extra copies be available.**
Q:  Where do I find my ticket?
A:  Your email confirmation of purchase is your ticket.  Please know that we are not responsible if you use an email provider who automatically unsubscribes you.  Our system can not reissue ticket confirmations.  That email will have a link to the signed agreement form, which can also be found on the website.  **Please note that the committee does not have the ability to print these forms at the venue, nor will extra copies be available.**

Q:  Will there be food at your event?
A:  Oh my goodness, yes!  We believe in entertaining well, and that includes food and drink.  Offerings will vary with each dance.  A full dinner is not provided, but we do have snacks and heavy hors d'oevres. Our guests expend quite a bit of energy at these dances, so we strongly suggest eating a full dinner and being well-hydrated before the event.

Q:  When is your event?
A:  We hold a fall semi-formal, winter casual, and spring formal event.  Please check the website for all details.

Q:  Does everyone need a signed agreement to attend events?
A:  Yep, even if you are 18+, you need to bring one.

Q:  Am I allowed to transfer a ticket?
A:  Absolutely, as long as it is done in the proper way!  We need emails at from both parties to guarantee the transfer, and we will provide all details upon hearing from the initial purchasing party.  Also, all ticket transfers must happen by noon on the Tuesday before the event.

Q:  What if my student needs OTC medication?
A:  The guests expend a lot of energy, and while the music is at a level that is typical for a dance, it is louder than that to which guests may be accustomed. If your teen is prone to headaches, joint pain, etc., you will need to provide them with your own pain reliever. It must be in a baggie or container with their name written on it as well as the name and dosage of the medication . On their form, you must have added signed permission for them to take as needed. This will be kept at the sign-in station with the chaperone.

Q:  Do you maintain a waitlist for sold out events?
A:  No, we do not.

Q:  What is the best way to get in contact with you?
A:  For ticket questions,  For dress code questions,  You are also welcome to message us via Facebook.  We do ask that if you have a committee member's private contact information that you please respect that and go through the proper channels rather than messaging privately.
By purchasing a ticket, you agree to abide by the Code of Conduct, the Dress Code, and to listen to the chaperones/adults in charge at the event.  If you have any questions, please let us know.

We are looking forward to a fabulous dance with your students!
